An amendment to add a new section to Title X (General Provisions) providing for a demonstration project to test the use in military hospitals of the hospital management computer system of the VA known as the Veterans' Administration's decentralized hospital computer program. The demonstration project is for six months beginning 12/1/85 in six hospitals designated by the Secretary. A report is to be made to Congress. The amendment prohibits procuring a centralized computer system for military hospitals until this demonstration is evaluated.
