Amendment99th Congress
An amendment stating: From funds appropriated in years prior to 1986 for defense purposes but not now required for the specific purposes originally designated, there is hereby authorized to be transferred to and merged with funds appropriated for FY'86, $4 billion to be used for the acquisition of defense articles for the conventional forces of the Army, Navy and Air Force, equally divided among them. Funds thus transferred may be used for acquisition of conventional weapons, including but not limited to: ammunition, ships, tanks, vehicles and planes.
