Amendment99th Congress
A substitute amendment prohibiting any U.S. person, business, or organization from making or holding any investment in South Africa. It requires complete withdrawal of all U.S. assets from South Africa, prohibits the export of U.S. goods or technology to South Africa, bars South African aircraft from using U.S. airfields, bans the importation of South African krugerrands or any gold minted or sold by the South African government. Penalities are provided for violation of these sanctions.
