Amendments en bloc to 1) prohibit providing funds for the U.S. High Commission for Refugees unless the High Commissioner establishes quarterly audits of the use of funds, where the audits are made available to the U.S. Comptroller General. The amendment requires the Comptroller General to inspect the audits and make reports to Congress on them. And 2) the Comptroller General is to conduct a study to determine the origin of goods acquired for use by U.S. High Commissioner for Refugees, with special attention to purchase of U.S. goods. The Comptroller General is to make a preliminary report to Congress on the study within six months and a final report within two years.
