An amendment to prohibit the acceptance by the U.S. of gift of any residence or other structure to provide an official residence for the Secretary of State or other official of the Department of State. If such an offer of a gift is made the Secretary of State is to conduct a study of its full cost to the U.S., including daily operating and security costs.
