Amendment99th Congress
An amendment to change part of the shuttle pricing policy. The amendment sets as one of the goals of the pricing for commercial or commercial or foreign use of the space system the gaining of two-thirds of all free world space transportation services and capabilities. Also, the Administrator is to set rates of reimbursement in full consideration of their economic impact on domestic launch services. Lastly, the Administrator is to examine and report to Congress on 1) feasibility of providing services on a basis of royalty recovery, and 2) proposed pricing policies on on-orbit service, repair, or recovery of spacecraft.
