An amendment to reduce the maximum civil penalties specified in the bill that can be imposed by Administrative Law Judges as follows: Reduce the maximum penalty for the first offense from $10,000 to $2,500; reduce the maximum penalty for the second offense within a five-year period from $25,000 to $5,000; reduce the maximum penalty for the third offense within a seven year period from $50,000 to $10,000.
