An amendment to prohibit the use of funds to enter into a contract for the procurement of rations known as Meal, Ready-to-Eat combat rations on a basis other than the total system acquisition approach under which the prime contractor is responsible for the acquisition, management, and final assembly of all component items which comprise the deliveries ration assembly.
