An amendment to require the State Department to submit a report to Congress which (1) lists the sanctions previously imposed on the Soviet Union for the invasion of Afghanistan and details the benefits to the Soviet Union for the lifting of each of those sanctions; (2) lists all areas of ongoing U.S.-U.S.S.R. cooperation which could be withheld from the Soviet Union; and (3) describes in detail the Soviet military forces in Afghanistan in classified and unclassified form.
