An amendment to reduce budget authority by $334 million so as to reduce outlays for FY 1988 by $ 101.5 million. The reductions in budget authority are as follows: $124.1 million from annual contributions to assisted housing; $42.9 million from elderly and handicapped housing; $17 million from EPA abatement, control, and compliance; $5 million from FEMA emergency management planning and assistance; $85 million from NASA space flight control and data communications; $50 million from National Science Foundation research and related activities; and, $5 million from VA general operating expenses.
