An amendment to provide that a member of the armed forces performing guard functions at a diplomatic or consular post in a high intelligence threat country shall not perform those functions for a period of more than 12 consecutive months, and within such period, shall be required to have two rest and recuperative absences of not less than ten days each, to be taken in a country other than a high intelligence threat country.
