An amendment to direct the Administrator to submit a report to the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works which assesses the current status on research into the use of oxygenated fuels containing ethanol or methanol to reduce carbon monoxide and ozone emissions. Such a report must be submitted within 180 days of the enactment of this legislation.
