An amendment to require states that receive funding under the provisions of the bill to maintain an elder abuse prevention and protection program which would provide public education and outreach activities, receive reports on abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older people, and serve as a clearing house for Older Americans regarding information on elder abuse.
