Amendment100th Congress
An amendment to require the Defense Department to adhere to termination years of weapon systems contracts in accordance with the Selected Acquisition Report submitted for such contracts. The Department of Defense may extend the termination on such contracts only for nonbudgetary reasons and only if the Defense Department submits a special request to Congress that outlines the reasons for the extension and the increase in unit cost as a result of the extension.
