Amendment100th Congress
An amendment to impose Buy America requirements on Defense Department procurement by requiring the Defense Department to award a contract to a domestic company if that company can fulfill the contract at a price no higher than 10 percent of a foreign company's bid. Further, if the domestic company is in an area of high unemployment, the amendment would require the Defense Department to award the domestic company the contract if its price is no higher than 15 percent of the foreign company's bid.
