An amendment to make permanent the current two-year counter intelligence polygraph test program that is scheduled to expire at the end of FY 1987. Under this program, the Defense Department is authorized to administer random polygraph tests to individuals with access to classified information, including uniformed military personnel, civilian Defense Department employees, and employees of defense contractors.
