An amendment to provide that $239,297,000 shall be available only for procurement of 1,388 HEMMTT vehicles, and to increase the amount available for tactical and support vehicles by $58,000,000. The amendment further provides that none of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available for procurement for the Army for fiscal year 1988 may be obligated or expended for the Mission Essential Equipment Program.
