Amendment100th Congress
An amendment to insert a new Title IV which would strike all provisions in the banking portion of the bill except the authorization for U.S. participation in a new World Bank agency, the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), which was requested by the administration, and the export trading company (ETC) provisions. In addition, provisions regarding certain studies, as well as some of the ones dealing with Third World debt are retained by the Wylie amendment.
