- Amendments en bloc sought to abolish the National Endowment for the Arts.
- Purpose
- An en bloc amendment consisting of several amendments which would eliminate all funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and to transfer all property donated, bequeathed, or devised to the NEA to the National Endowment for the Humanities. The amendment instructs the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to provide for the termination of the affairs of the Endowment and the National Council on the Arts and to provide for the disposition of personnel, assets, liabilities, grants contracts, property, records, and unexpended balances of appropriations.
