- Amendment sought to delete language which allows foreign students in good standing to work at part-time jobs, provided employers demonstrate that they have been unable to hire American workers to do these jobs.
- Purpose
- An amendment to delete the provisions of the bill authorizing foreign students to work at part-time jobs off-campus, provided that such students are currently enrolled in an accredited school and provided further that the employer pays prevailing wages and has demonstrated an inability to hire domestically.
