- Purpose
- An en bloc amendment, consisting of several amendments which would: Establish a target price of $4.50 per bushel for the first 15,000 bushels of wheat and a target price of $3.10 per bushel for the first 21,000 bushels of corn produced in any one year, eliminating all deficiency payments for production in excess of those amounts. The amendment strengthens the provisions of current law restricting deficiency payments to $50,000 per person in any year.
