- Amendment sought to prohibit any person with an adjusted gross income of $100,000 for the taxable year during which such payment was made from receiving payments, purchases, or loans under the wheat, feed grains, cotton, honey, rice, oilseeds, and wool and mohair programs.
- Purpose
- An amendment to prohibit all payments, purchases, and loans under the wheat, feed grains, cotton, honey, rice, oilseeds, and wool and mohair programs for any person with an adjusted gross income of $100,000 or more during the year the payment would be made, or the preceding taxable year. The measure employs a $100,000 limit on "taxable income" for payment entitiies that are not individuals, and a $1 million limit on gross revenues for certain tax-exempt entities.
