- Purpose
- An amendment to establish the following payment limits for each individual who receives federal farm program payments: A $50,000 limit on deficiency (and land diversion) payments--retaining provisions of current law that permit a producer to collect deficiency payments as a participant in three different entities, with a limit of $100,000 on total payments; a $100,000 limit on marketing loan gains, Findley payments, loan deficiency payments, and inventory reduction payments; and, a $200,000 aggregate limit on all payments, which could not be exceeded through participation in more than one farming entity.
