- Amendment reauthorized sections 103 and 104 of the Clean Air Act which directs the EPA to carry out a research, development, and demonstration program in support of the Clean Air Act.
- Purpose
- An amendment to extend air pollution research programs within the EPA, so that the effects of air pollution and acid rain on human health and the environment will continue to be explored. Research is also required to be continued regarding the effect of alternative fuels and pollution control technologies.
