- Amendment reduced the Federal share of the cost of construction of the Washington Metrorail System from 80 percent to 75 percent.
- Purpose
- An amendment to decrease, from 80% to 75%, the federal share of funding for the remaining construction of the Washington Metrorail System. The amendment also reduces by a commensurate amount, from $2.16 billion to $2.025 billion, the level of federal funding authorized by the bill to complete construction of the planned 103-mile system.
