- An amendment to require the Treasury Department to collect information on currency confiscated in drug enforcement actions and drug-related money laundering operations, including the dollar amounts of each denomination of currency confiscated. The Department would also be required to report to Congress on what other information would be needed to determine whether $50 and $100 dollar bills are used primarily for drug trafficking and other illegal activities, and on what other information would be needed to determine the feasibility of withdrawing $50 and $100 dollar bills from circulation.
