- An amendment to add $150 million to the conventional forces authorization and to be allocated as follows: $47 million to repair Army helicopters in Texas damaged by tornadoes; $377 million for MLRS artillery rockets (an increase from $336 million); $1.73 billion for army ammunition (an increase from $1.70 billion); and, $238 million for the Balanced Technology Initiative (an increase from $206 million).
