- Purpose
- An amendment requiring the Secretary of State to appoint a task force to conduct a study concerning improvements in the recruitment and promotion of Hispanic Americans at the State Department and in the Foreign Service. The amendment further requires the Secretary to report to Congress on the results of the study not later than 180 days after the encactment of this legislation.
