- An amendment to increase the minimum wage in thirty cent increments to a level of $4.25 by 1992. The amendment creates a six month sub-minimum "training" wage for all newly hired workers. Raises the exemption level for most firms from $362,500 to $500,000, and retains the level to "tip credit" provisions of the bill.
