An amendment to prohibit delivery of assistance of any kind to the Communist Party of South Africa or any affiliated or associated organization and to specify that the President shall undertake efforts to ensure that recipients of United States assistance in South Africa are not engaged in violations of internationally recognized human rights, including the unlawful detention of individuals, and have in place democratic processes for internal decisionmaking and the selection of leaders.
