- An amendment to permit attorney's fees to be paid to claimants after each stage of the process in which a claimant wins an administrative order or a judicial ruling has granted benefits. The amendment would apply only to new claims filed and not to claims which are refiled.
- Purpose
- Amendment provides that provisions in the bill that expand attorney fees will apply only to those cases filed after the enactment of the bill and will not apply to those claims previously denied which are permitted to be refiled under the bill.
