An amendment to require the Farm Credit Administration to review regulations regarding the disclosure of financial information and reporting of potential conflicts of interest by officers and employees of the Farm Credit System. The amendment would require the FCS to modify said regulations within three years of enactment of the bill to ensure that stockholders are provided with adequate information about FCS operations; provide investors with necessary information in making investment decisions; and provide the FCA with necessary information to assess the financial soundness of FCS institutions.

- Amendment originally sought to require each director, officer, and employee of each institution of the Farm Credit System (FCS) to file certain statements disclosing income, finances, and information concerning conflict of interest. \ As amended by the de la Garza substitute amendment (A005), the above was replaced with language which requires the Farm Credit Administration to review regulations regarding the disclosure of financial information and reporting of potential conflicts of interest by officers and employees of the Farm Credit System; and requires the FCS to modify such regulations within three years of enactment of the bill as are deemed necessary.
