- Purpose
- Amendment requires the Jackson, Mississippi Federal Intermediate Credit Bank to merge with another Farm Credit System institution within one year of enactment of the bill. \ As amended by the de la Garza substitute amendment (A003), the Farm Credit Administration is required to conduct a referendum of the farmer-borrowers of the bank that allows them the option to seek a merger partner and negotiate a merger plan or proceed with an arbitrated merger with the Farm Credit Bank of Texas.
