Amendment originally sought to eliminate from the Guaranteed Student Loan program those schools which have default rates of: (1) 30 percent and in which a majority of the undergraduate programs offered lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree; or (2) 25 percent for other institutions. \ As amended by the Goodling amendment (A034), the above was replaced with language which eliminates from the GSL program schools with default rates of over 25 percent for three years in a row.
