- Purpose
- Amendment authorizes a $50 million grant program for state and local law enforcement agencies; increases the base allocation for distribution of antidrug funds to States; authorizes the establishment of rural drug enforcement task forces; and authorizes funds for the training of law enforcement personnel from rural areas in investigation of drug trafficking and related crimes.
