- Amendment to the Smith (FL) amendment (A015) sought to provide that export license prohibitions applicable to subsidiaries of U.S. companies enjoined from trading with Cuba under the Smith (FL) amendment should not extend to companies where these prohibitions are inconsistent with the laws of the country in which the foreign subsidiary or affiliate is located.
