- Purpose
- Amendment provides that none of the funds appropriated in the bill may be used to purchase or acquire items from a foreign country if the Secretary of Defense, after consultation with the U.S. Trade Representative, determines that a foreign country which is a party to a reciprocal trade agreement has violated the agreement by discriminating against U.S. products covered by the agreement.
