Amendment102nd Congress
A perfecting amendment to the Snowe amendment which would require the Secretary of State, in coordination with the heads of other appropriate government agencies to submit within 180 days a comprehensive plan on current and future space requirements for the U.S. embassy in Moscow, with an assessment of how such requirements should be met. The amendment would also require the Secretary of State and the Director of the CIA to submit to Congress a joint report on alternative approaches to the reconstructions of new facilities at the U.S. Moscow embassy no later than 60 days prior to the obligation or expenditure of any funds authorized in the bill.
