- Purpose
- An amendment to the Boehlert amendment to change the criteria for exempting flood control facilities from ESA requirements when undertaking preventative repair projects on flood control facilities. The amendment would allow the exemption to apply when there is "substantial" risk to life and property, rather than allowing flood control repairs when "necessary" to protect life and property.
