- Amendment sought to replace provisions which apply IRS expense allowances in determining permissible living expenses of debtors and their families with language that incoporates a test based on the disposable income standard of current law.
- Purpose
- An amendment to strike the provisions that apply the Internal Revenue Service expense allowances for determining permissible living expenses of debtors and their families, adopts a standard of reasonably necessary exepnses, and directs the Executive Office of United States Trustees to issue guidelines that will assist in assessing these expenses.
