Amendment originally sought to exempt certain health plans from a requirement that Federal employee health plans include contraceptive coverage to the same extent as prescription drug coverage. It would have allowed a carrier not to provide the coverage if the carrier for the plan objects to such coverage on the basis of religious beliefs or moral convictions. \ As amended by the Lowey amendment (A006) the words "or moral convictions" were stricken from the amendment.
