At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: ? SEC. __. None of the funds made available in this Act may be used by the Department of Homeland Security prior to December 31, 2006, to terminate financial assistance for housing authorized by section 408 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5174) to any Hurricane Katrina evacuee, who previously has been determined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to be eligible to receive such assistance.
