- Purpose
- An amendment, printed as amendment No. 6 in part 2 of House Report 105-531, to eliminate the 5% of annual gross revenue which a financial holding company may derive from commercial activities. The amendment would sunset after ten years the grandfathered the 15% of gross revenue derived from commercial activities permitted to certain businesses that become holding companies affiliated with a bank.
