- Purpose
- An amendment consisting of three amendments printed in part 1 of House Rept. 105-473 and considered as having been adopted pursuant to the provisions of H. Res. 402. The amendments would (A) Prevent the U.S. Corps of Engineers from depositing fill on an archaeological site until a related lawsuit is settled or the federal magistrate approves of the Corps' actions; (B) Express the Sense of the House on spending offsets for emergency supplemental appropriations; (C) Replace the rescissions in Airport Grants In Aid with rescissions from the Section 8 Houseing Reserve Account.
