- Amendment sought to change the definition contained in the bill for animal unit month (AUM).
- Purpose
- An amendment to retain the current definition of animal unit month (AUM). The bill currently defines AUM as the amount of forage needed to sustain one animal unit (one cow and calf, one horse, or seven sheep or seven goats) for one month. The amendment retain the current number of five sheep and goats per AUM.
