- Purpose
- An amendment, printed as amendment No. 12 in the Congressional Record of April 29, 1997, to modify the provisions in the bill relating to assisted housing income targeting. The amendment would specify that 75% of the choice-based vouchers issued each year would have to be provided to families with incomes below 30% of the median income, and to require that all such assistant be reserved for families making less than 50% of median income.
