- Purpose
- An amendment, printed as amendment No. 26 in the Congressional Record of April 29, 1997 to modify the provisions of the bill regarding eviction procedures used by public housing authorities. The bill would exclude from public housing grievance procedures all eviction proceedings that require a court hearing before an eviction can occur. The amendment would exclude from greivance procedures only those evictions related to activities that threaten the health and safety of the residents from greivance procedures.
