- An amendment numbered 27 as printed in the Congressional Record of June 19, 1996, to increase by $297 million (to $1.1 billion) the appropriation for HUD programs for the homeless which would restore the funding to the pre-rescission FY 1995 level. The offset for this increase would come from a reduction in the funding for the space station by $297 million.
