- Purpose
- An amendment, printed as amendment No. 34 in the Congressional Record of June 18, 1996 to increase the funds appropriated for operating expenses of the National Park System by $62 million; Indian Houseing by $27.5 million; and Indian education by $27.5 million. The amendment would reduce the funds of the Department of Energy for fossil fuel research and development by a comparable amount.
