- Amendment places limits on the use of funds provided to the government of a foreign country for the purchase of goods made in a country other than such foreign country or the United States.
- Purpose
- An amendment to require foreign governments to use the funds appropriated in the bill for the purchase of American-made products, if no such product is manufactured in the recipient country, and if the purchase price of the American-made product is not more than 10% higher than a product made in another country.
